Ex-Tawichita’s Pres shines..It’s Lunda’s Time!!

The 2010 Excellence in Public Service Award winners were announced on April 15,2010 in separate surprise announcements at their respective jobs. The winners are:
Justin Whyte, a police officer for the City of Wichita;
David Dennis, Jr., a teacher at Wichita North High School;
And Lunda Paul Asmani, Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst for Sedgwick County.
Winners were selected from thousands of eligible workers from the three public organizations. They share a strong work ethic, exceptional performance and a commitment to community.
The DeVore Family will award each recipient a $2,500 check at a reception on May 20 at The Cowtown Visitors Center, 1865 W. Museum Blvd.
Here are our big brother Lunda’s achievements:
Lunda Asmani, Sedgwick County: Asmani is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Analyst within the Sedgwick County ERP Department. He has been a Sedgwick County employee for nearly nine years, working in several different County offices as an ERP analyst,
Asmani helps departments improve business processes, and define and track key performance indicators. He also volunteers to assist with Sedgwick County projects, organizational development initiatives and serves as a mentor in the Sedgwick County Mentoring Program. He serves on several community boards, including the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center, Wichita/Sedgwick County Community Housing Services and the South Central Kansas Economic Development District. Asmani has been a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters since 2003, serves on several committees at Dellrose United Methodist Church (including Finance Chair and Youth Ministry) and is active with the Tanzania Association of Kansas(TAWICHITA). Asmani is married and has two children.
